Gymnastics Classes
This is a 30 minute class designed for children age 2 years old. This class is an introductory class to developing balance & agility, body awareness & coordination, & physical strength at an early age.
This is a 45 minute class and is designed to promote physical fitness through the introduction of basic gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam and floor & more! Students will also be encouraged to work on shared turn taking, manners and other early childhood social skills. Coaches will also work to develop their body awareness, coordination, and coachability!
This is a 1 hour class designed to introduce fundamental gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam, floor and more. They will spend time working on skills that will develop their balance, flexibility, body awareness, strength, and coordination. This class does not require any prerequisite skills for placement.
This is a 1 hour class designed to continue the development of skills mastered in the beginner gymnastics class on vault, bars, beam, floor and more. Building upon previously attained skills, children will be taught techniques and terminology to further develop skills. Coaches will also focus on developing confidence and building strength and stamina in intermediate athletes. Students must be evaluated or invited from a beginner gymnastics class to join this class.
- 1 day pre-team– 1.5 hours class, ages 4-7 year olds
- 2 day pre-team– 3 hours, split into two days per week, ages 6+ years old
- This is an advanced gymnastics class for athletes that show potential to compete in gymnastics competitively in the future. These athletes have a desire to take their gymnastics skills to the next level and work towards the goal of moving up to the competitive team. Pre-team class has limited spots annually. Ways to become a member of pre-team, a coach can recommend a move up to pre-team, and evaluation can be requested through the front desk.
Wednesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM, 1 hour
This class is geared specifically towards boys looking to develop foundational gymnastics skills. Athletes will focus on strength-building exercises, flexibility, balance, and coordination through a variety of gymnastics drills and routines. Expect to learn skills on the floor, vault, and bar, while developing agility and body awareness essential for gymnastics and other sports.
Adult Open Gym (1.5 hours)
Our Adult Open Gym offers a welcoming environment for adults 18+ of all skill levels to work on tumbling, or any other gymnastic skills. Whether you're a former cheerleader, gymnast, or simply looking for a fun way to stay active, this open gym is a great place to practice at your own pace. Coaches are on hand to assist, spot, and provide tips, but the atmosphere is relaxed and self-directed.
Tumbling Classes
Our recreational tumbling program is divided into levels and designed to ensure that skills in each class build off each other to ensure proper progression, technique, and safety for all cheer and tumbling students. Athletes must master all skills in each level before moving to the next.
This is a 1 hour class designed to introduce the beginning basics of tumbling including: forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and backbends. This class also focuses on proper body positions for entering and landing tumbling, as well as, body shapes they will need as they progress through the art of tumbling. Once mastering all Intro skills, athletes will advance to Level 1 Tumble.
The Level 1 Tumbling Class is designed to build upon skills learned in Intro tumbling. Skills include handstand snap down, backbend kickover, back and front walkover, round off and back extension roll to push up. Coaches will also spend time working on flexibility and strength to enhance the athletes development of proper technique and progression. Athletes must master all Level 1 skills before advancing to Level 2 Tumbling.
The Level 2 Tumbling Class is designed to build upon skills learned in Level 1 tumbling. Skills include standing back handspring, roundoff back handspring, front walkover roundoff back handspring, cartwheel back handspring, back walkover back handspring, and front handspring. Coaches will also spend time working on flexibility and strength to enhance the athletes development of proper technique and progression. Athletes must master all Level 2 skills before advancing to Level 3 Tumbling.
The Level 3 Tumbling Class is designed to build upon skills learned in Level 2 tumbling. Level 3 skills including: roundoff back handspring tuck, front punch/tuck, roundoff Tuck, front walkover round off, standing back handspring series, jump to backhandspring connection, standing backhandspring tuck, and back extension roll to handstand. Coaches will also spend time working on flexibility and strength to enhance the athletes development of proper technique and progression. Athletes must master all Level 3 skills before advancing to Level 4 Tumbling.
- The Level 4 Tumbling Class is designed to build upon skills learned in Level 3 tumbling.
- Level 4 skills including: roundoff back handspring layout, whip through to tuck/layout, front punch/tuck step out roundoff layout, cartwheel tuck, standing Tuck, standing backhandspring tuck, standing series to backhandspring tuck, and jump to backhandspring tuck.
- Coaches will also spend time working on flexibility, strength, conditioning and shaping to enhance the athletes development of proper technique and progression to attain and maintain the high level skills in the level 4 tumbling class.
- The Level 5 Tumbling Class is designed to build upon skills learned in Level 4 tumbling.
- Level 5 skills including: round off backhandspring full, front punch/tuck step out to full, whip to full, round-off full, cartwheel full, standing backhandspring full, standing series to layout/full, jump to tuck, and jump to backhandspring series to full connection.
- Coaches will also spend time working on flexibility, strength, conditioning and shaping to enhance the athletes development of proper technique and progression to attain and maintain the high level skills in the level 5 tumbling class.
Tuesday at 4:30 PM, 1 hour
This focused class is designed to help athletes master the standing tuck, one of the most sought-after skills in cheerleading. Participants will learn proper technique, drills to build strength and power, and tips for perfecting form. The class is ideal for anyone working toward achieving or improving their standing tuck. Expect lots of repetition, individualized coaching, and drills to build confidence and consistency.
Cheer Classes
This is an 30 minute add-on class designed to focus on developing the strength and flexibility to maintain and develop new skills at all levels of cheer. The goal of this class is to help athletes establish a strong foundation of discipline
in areas of body control, strength, agility and flexibility needed to increase their ability to conquer new tumbling, stunting, and jumping skills.
This is an hour class’s goal is to help cheerleaders build their awareness of how to polish up and enhance the overall performance in 3 main areas:
Crowd Engagement, Motions, and Voice Projection.
We believe having the awareness of proper cheer etiquette can help cheerleaders have a sharper edge in their overall confidence and presence, which will lead to helping them reach their goals on a local or collegiate level.
This an hour class designed for cheer athletes to focus on what truly
establishes an elite level cheerleader, the basics. This entry level course will teach cheerleaders how to cheer and dance with motions and 8-counts, learn the correct verbiage for motions and jumps at a pace that is not intimidating for those getting introduced to cheer.
We offer on and off-site coaching and assistance to school cheer teams. We offer a variety of packages for school cheer squads, as well as, customizable packages to meet specific needs for each squad! For more information, please email [email protected].
Monday, 2 hours; Friday, 3 hours
Designed for high school juniors to college age students, this class focuses on developing co-ed stunting and tumbling skills to help you excel in collegiate cheer. With two hours of training on Monday and a three-hour session on Friday, athletes will work on mastering stunts and improving technique.
Monday at 6:30 PM, 1 hour
This open gym is perfect for athletes looking to refine their stunts and tumbling skills in a relaxed, flexible environment. With no structured class plan, participants are free to focus on the areas they need most. A coaches will be available to offer guidance, and help with technique. Ideal for athletes preparing for competition, working on new skills, or just wanting extra practice time.
