Inside our Program

Welcome to the Limitbreakers Competitive Gymnastics Team! Representing Limitbreakers is a privilege that your child has earned through her hard work, dedication and determination. Limitbreakers is excited to continue building our legacy in the state & region. We can’t wait to see how our athletes and coaches will grow this season and are thankful for the opportunity to work with your athlete.

Our Program is designed to grow your athlete mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our goal is to be part of the village that helps grow them into the best versions of themselves. We will work to build their character through training vault, bars, beam and floor and also what we call our additional events: conditioning, nutrition, leadership & mental training.

The Limitbreakers Mission:

To provide a culture that develops an athlete’s character, leadership ability, and instills discipline and focus in and outside of the gym.

Limitbreakers is founded on 3 character rules, which your athletes will learn, love and live

  1. Act older than you are.
  2. Keep an open mind & open heart.
  3. Sit in humility & rise in responsibility.

We believe by becoming disciplined in these rules, athletes and coaches develop a strong character base and mental discipline to be leaders in and out of the gym. Being a Limitbreaker is a lifestyle and these rules are the foundation for applying great leadership into all aspects of life!

What Sets Us Apart

Our commitment to developing an athlete’s character through sport and lessons. While success and winning look different to each club, here at Limitbreakers, we set a goal to be competitive in gymnastics, but number one at building an atmosphere that creates leaders in and out of the gym.

The TRIANGLE: The Coach/Athlete/Parent

Parents have one of the most difficult jobs on the coach/athlete/parent team because they have the smallest role in actual controlling performance. They feel the failures and successes of their children and feel personally responsible. This sometimes causes parents to lose sight of their role. Which can in turn reduce the effectiveness of the coach/gymnast/parent team. When you have concerns, voice them, when you have questions, ask. The only way our parent/gymnast/coach team functions efficiently is when we all work together to communicate.

Levels at Limitbreakers

Limitbreakers follows USAGymnastics guidelines and competes in the USAG Women’s Development Program and the USAG Xcel Program. We compete in sanctioned levels 1-10 in the development program. Levels 1-3 are developmental levels; Levels 4-5 are compulsory levels and levels 6-10 are optional levels. Xcel consists of 6 Divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire.

Developmental & Compulsory gymnastics, levels 1-5, is a national program in which every gymnast in a particular level will compete with the same routine in each event. The deductions and guidelines are the same for all states and regions. Practice duration for developmental and compulsory can vary from 6 to 14 hours a week based on level.

Optional gymnastics, level 6-10, is a national program in which each level has requirements that the gymnast must meet on each event. The routines and skills are different for each gymnast. There are USAG level requirements, as well as, requirements set forth by Limitbreakers to participate in each level. This program includes regional and national competitions. Practice duration for optionals is 16.5-20 hours a week.

The USA Gymnastics Xcel program was developed as an alternative competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of Xcel is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience. The program allows a wide choice in skills to meet requirements so selection may be based on an individual athlete’s strengths. The Xcel Program gives coaches the ability to tailor skills and routines to individual gymnasts sooner in their gymnastics career. There are USAG level requirements, as well as, requirements set forth by Limitbreakers to participate in each level. This program includes regional competitions. Practice duration for our Xcel program can vary from 6-15 hours based on level.
