An energetic & confident personality is a must to work with children, along with the desire to coninuously grow and develop as a person. A background in gymnastics or cheerleading is wonderful, but not a requirement. At Limitbreakers, we focus on developing the character of our athletes, as well as, increasing their physical and mental strength through sport and fitness. Positions at Limitbreakers

Tumbling Coach

Limitbreaker tumbling coaches need to be approachable and coachable in all areas of tumbling. Tumbling coaches should teach and develop tumbling skills at an appropriate pace while making classes fun and engaging each time their athletes step into the class. Strong candidates include people who are driven, fun, energized, creative and have good communication skills to reach athletes of appropriate ages and levels. Higher level tumbling coaches must showcase their knowledge of teaching skills before being allowed to coach classes.

Special Events Staff

Special Events staff are fun and energetic individuals with the ability to safely lead children of varying skill levels through the gym. Strong candidates are people with good time management skills who can keep their party group energized and moving with the ability to engage each child during what could most likely be their very first introduction to gymnastics and Limitbreakers. In addition, qualified candidates must be able to interact with parents attending the party as well as set-up, serve food, and clean-up at the end. Almost all of our Special Events are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Gymnastics Instructor

Limitbreaker Instructors should believe in teaching through positive reinforcement, with an emphasis on making a wonderful experience for each of their students. Instructors can teach Preschool or Recreational (School-Age) classes or a combination of both. Strong candidates are people with good time management skills who can keep the class energized, fun, and moving while making sure each child receives the individual attention necessary to progress.

Advanced Recreational Instructor/Competitive Team Coach

In addition to all the same qualities as a Gymnastics Instructor, our Advanced Recreational Instructor/Competitive Team Coaches should have additional gymnastics coaching or instructing experience working with advanced gymnasts. Our competitive gymnasts compete at various levels within the USAG program in Alabama as well as the Southeast. Familiarity with advanced skills, drills, conditioning exercises, and technique is a definite plus.

Cheer Prep/School Cheer Coach

School Cheer and Cheer Prep instructors should be able to assess and teach school cheer motions, jumps, dance, tumbling, stunts, and routines. Strong candidates include people with high school or college cheer experience that have an eye for watching multiple parts of full routines and the ability to communicate changes to technique, routines, etc. These candidates have a creative eye for dance and cheer motions and also have the ability to communicate with school cheer coaches.
